What a fantastic year!

Over the years Sand In Your Eye have become innovators in the world of sand art, ice sculpture, pumpkin carving, light art and 3D anamorphic drawings.

Highlights have included the world’s biggest sand animation with Aardman Animation, a giant sand sculpture of Charles Darwin outside Bradford City Hall, pumpkins and zombies invading our home town for the Hebden Bridge Pumpkin Festival, a 1 km sand drawing of a Land Rover Defender on a beach in Wales, engaging sand sculpture workshops for English Heritage‘s #LoveCastles campaign, enchanting story telling and ice trails for Burnley and Bradford councils, ice bars and ice sculptures around the UK, road art and a 31 metre bike on the roof of Trinity Shopping Centre in Leeds for the Tour de Yorkshire, poignant and moving sand art to commemorate the centenary anniversaries of World War One, including Pages of the Sea; the epic series of sand drawings created with 14-18 NOW and the director Danny Boyle and our own personal project Please Look After Me, raising awareness for the homeless population. Just to name a few of our favourites!

We have had great fun making all this art, and are incredibly proud to present this showreel made by Bezmond films. Hope you enjoy it, let us know what you think!
