This Halloween half term, Sand in Your Eye were pleased to be a part of the activities and entertainment schedule at Battersea Power Station. Activities ranged from Lego model building, digital graffiti, costume making and face painting to name just a few.

Sand in Your Eye contributed to the fun and learning with the help of our good friend Zara, who led some pop-up pumpkin carving workshops.

Pumpkin Carving Workshops

Adults and children all having fun carving pumpkins

The pumpkin carving workshops were suitable for anyone over eight years old who was accompanied by an adult. Anyone who attended got some sound advice and guidance from an experienced carver. They learned how to use children’s carving tools in a safe environment and had lots of creative fun whilst learning how to design and carve their pumpkins.
