Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project Sand Drawing, Morecambe Bay

As beaches all over the UK make a beautiful canvas and amazing environments to create our many sand drawings and sand sculptures over the years, when we were asked to work with Surfers Against Sewage and Barefoot Wine with their Beach Rescue Project, we couldn’t have been happier to help! We were asked to make a giant sand drawing to promote a call to action for the public to come and help clear litter from UK beaches in various locations over the summer. The sand drawing we made was 150 metres long, it was great fun to create! Thank you Morecambe for letting us use your beach to create our art piece.

Finished! Time to enjoy a glass of wine.

We will be also creating sand bars at each beach clean up. Come along and say hello and join in the clean up. For dates and locations, check out Barefoot Wine’s website.

  2. Hi. My name is Margaret Riley and my husband is Chairman of Cumbria Centre Caravan Club. We are raising as much money as we can for Cancer Research UK, to date the total is £9500 +. We have been lucky enough to secure the services of Cedric Robinson MBE to lead us across the bay on the 27th August. We have a poster produced for us by Cancer Research UK, but I have today come across your amazing Barefoot photograph. I am sure that this will be copyrighted, but I wonder if you would give us permission to use this fantastic image on our posters? I am sure this would attract a great deal of interest and attention and perhaps encourage more people to join our walk.
This is an unashamed plea for help !! Thank you very much
    Margaret Riley.
