After the success of last year’s ice trail at Redcar, we were asked to come back with more icy festive cheer to the lovely seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. 

Our team started by setting out a trail of seven pre-carved Christmas themed ice sculptures around the town, some with a fantastic view of the sea. However, did this mean some of the sculptures did melt quite quickly due to the unseasonable warm, windy, salty air. 

We had our fab, festive letter writing workshops with an ice post box and our team as usual enjoyed the excuse to get dressed up in their elfish gear.

We set up the live carve of santa’s sleigh at Saltburn station square and the man in red was very happy to get his magic sleigh finished so he could meet the children of Saltburn.
